Last summer I was out shopping at what my family has always lovingly called "The Auction". Until my friends started asking me questions about said "Auction" and I answered them with a description of lots and lots of people standing out on the hot, hot pavement and selling old goods, I didn't know that is was indeed not an auction, but a flea market. Call me weird, but when my parents told me we were going to "The Auction" I just nodded my approval and said "OK!" So, "The Auction" in question is actually Denio's Flea Market in Roseville, CA. A place where there is tons of great stuff as long as you have the time and the patience to sort through it all. Well, when I'm cruising with my Grandma, I usually do. So, back to last summer... normally, because I am an Aries and my patience to sort through a lot of random stuff is very limited, I don't usually find many things I am willing to spend my hard earned allowance on (yes, I give myself an allowance!) But, this particular sunny afternoon, I was having a ball, and using my patience wisely, when I stumbled across the amazing vintage Louis Vuitton bag below. After some savvy bargaining on my part, I managed to take this baby home with me for a cool $20!

So, I thought that I was the luckiest girl in the world to have found one vintage designer bag, when lo and behold, I find another! Yesterday I was out shopping in the Mission in San Francisco. My friend Molly and I were out scavenging vintage stores for anything fabulous when from afar I spotted this Gucci bag in The Painted Bird on Valencia Street. At first I just glanced at it until I noticed the monogram. I was intrigued so I picked it up and checked it out from all of the important angles. Upon discovery that it was indeed Gucci, I spied the price tag to see what it would set me back. $16.95. That is what the price tag said. $16.95! I almost peed myself! I looked around the store, sure I was on Candid Camera, and when I finally realized that this was for real I slapped that baby on my arm and guarded it until I could make it to the counter for the sale!
