Today I am on a mission: find the perfect T-shirt! I need something drapey, but not so drapey that I am swimming in it. Light, but not sheer, I like a light jersey: something with a little weight but not super heavy. I would love to find a tee to dress up or down. A Tee that has some shape, but is not form fitting. Oh, and standard T-shirt sleeves, none of those cap sleeves for me. How is my criteria so far? Tough, I would say. Oddly, it is not always easy to find the perfect Tee; oh, especially because I refuse to pay more than $25 (max, and it better be good) for a T-shirt. This is in my unwritten standards of how much I will pay for certain items of clothing. You know, like jeans: a great pair that make you feel like the hottest girl in the room, the ones that give you the ass your Mom's genes never did (Ha! No pun intended...). Those jeans I would pay upwards of $200 dollars for. But, wait, where was I? Oh yes, Tees. I have scoured my usual places looking for my dream Tee, and alas, have not found it. I thought I had found a great stand in at Target today, very cute, very drapey. However, I don't think even an extra small would have covered the "good china" if you know what I'm saying. A girl would definitely have to wear a tank underneath, and that is not in my criteria for the perfect Tee. Although not stated earlier, I would like a top that I can just throw on and go with and not have to worry about an undershirt. Below are a few options that I found that meet most or all of my criteria. Let me know if you have any other perfect Tees to add to the list!
