Obsessed with, in AWE of, LOVE!!!

A few months back I was cruising the streets on downtown SLO (that's San Luis Obispo for those of you not familiar with the Central Coast), window shopping mostly, trying to determine where and on what I would like to spend my most recent weeks allowance.  I came upon a small art gallery that I've passed by hundreds of times before, only this time something caught my eye: the most beautiful fashion illustrations I have ever seen!  I had to stop in and see what more this amazing artist had to offer!  I cruised the entire (small) showroom and took in all of the amazing renderings by an artist named Arturo Elena.  I had never heard of him before, even in my many days at FIDM.  All of those hours I spent bent over my sketchpads completing the many assignments in fashion illustration, I could have used him as my inspiration.  His attention to detail is staggering; ability to create movement, amazing; and capacity to produce emotion in the expressions of his figures, spectacular!  So without further ado, I present to you, some of the work of Arturo Elena!
