La La Lanvin

Oh Lanvin, how can you take an idea so seemingly simple and from your point of view make it appear chic, bohemian, sexy, comfortable, daring and exotic all at the same time?  Please let me into the secrets of Alber Elbaz's supremely eloquent thoughts so that I may relish in the beautiful processes of his creative mind!  I will have this outfit for my own this summer.  I can think of nothing else that encompasses so many varied descriptions for my go to summer outfit.  Now, sadly, Lanvin is not in my summer budget (possibly not even my lifetime budget), but I think that with some savvy shopping I may be able to find a suitable stand in for summer.  The top I am not really concerned about, it should be easy enough to find (let's hope), but a similar skirt might prove to be a little more difficult.  Perhaps I will put some of my pattern making and sewing skills to good use this summer.
