Oy. My hair is greasy, I haven't gotten dressed for like 3 weeks, and I don't even remember what I look like with makeup on. We are still working on the getting settled part of our move. Everything is still pretty much in shambles, but hopefully that will change this weekend. Of course what has been mostly on my mind is decor. A new place equals (much needed) new stuff. What I want most: organization and a little zest. Hence the texture and patterns. That is where I will get the excitement from in my living room. It has to be slim on the little knick-knacks and doo-dads because, well, I'm not really big on dusting (or sweeping, or mopping, etc. etc.), so I have to keep the things that need to be moved around and dusted under to a minimum. Remember that couch I wanted? Won't this chair be the eggs to that bacon!? Room for more books? Oh, yea. Tiny ecosystem that sustains itself? Check. Loving it all, let's see how much of it actually materializes in my house.
